The life of a fiendish schizophrenic.

Yay, the image battles are back in DDR Freak! I have never before participated in one until now [I've been dying to]. Breeze challenged me. Anywho, if you want to check out the action, go to this thread. I'll update on the rounds and stuff on my own blogger, so there really isn't much of a point going to the thread, unless you want to read what we say to each other and stuff.

The starter pic

Breeze is going to Chicago and he'll be back on Sunday, so I just started The First Round:

It probably took me a little over an hour doing making that. I used the hat from the original picture, and part of the original picture's background as my own.

After observing the original picture, I first decided to use the man in round 1. But then, I decided to just the hat and make it the center of my image. After I had that idea, I immediately threw it away and decided to get one of my pictures, edit it and make it look like I'm wearing the hat. After I cropped and edited the hat and the picture of me, I cropped like, the part of the background from the original picture that didn't wasn't touching the old man. I used some filters, erase tool here and there, brush tool here and there, and voila.

After that, I copied the picture of me twice. I used the first one in the bottom of the three images and used the motion filter to make the edges of my picture look smoother. With the second copy, I used the cut-out filter and made this really neat abstract version of the pic. I put that behind the original picture of me, faded the original picture so that you could partially see the other picture under it, and made it into black and white so that the uglyness of the digital camera color wouldn't show and ruin my color scheme.

With the hat, I first rotated it to the right a bit so that it would look better on my head. I copied it, and with the copy, I made it into black and white and put it behind the original. I faded the original so that it would be partially transparent. I did this so that the hat wouldn't be entirely the same from the original, I merely just changed its shadow appearance.

After that, I decided to name this round, "Tearin' up the boards". With that, I used the lasso tool to manually cut a strategic "torn" effect on the background, got a Print Screen image of the battle thread, and pasted it onto the transparent part of the bg. Then, I used the paint tool to outline the edges of the "torn" parts would stand out more and look a tad bit smoother. I guess it was too smooth, and that the "torn" thing isn't as good as I hope they would be, but oh well. I don't feel like fixing it right now.

I think you can figure out what I did with the text.
